Tebra Provider Directory

Designed and launched Tebra Care, a patient-facing provider directory, from low-fidelity through to provider onboarding.

Tebra Provider Directory

Project Overview

Tebra Care is a patient-facing directory for finding healthcare providers. I led design and front-end delivery from concept to a live product, working closely with the co-founder and an agile delivery team.

The constraint

A provider directory has two users with opposing needs. Patients want to find and judge a provider quickly, with minimal information. Providers want their listing to represent them properly, which means more information. Serving both meant the sign-up experience had to be thorough enough to produce good listings without being so heavy that providers abandoned it — an empty directory is worth nothing to patients.

Approach

  • Worked inside the core agile team rather than handing designs over, so constraints from engineering and product shaped the design as it went.
  • Progressed from low to high fidelity in deliberate stages, refining several fidelity streams in parallel.
  • Worked directly with front-end engineers on interaction detail rather than specifying it in the abstract.
  • Designed the provider onboarding flow — the supply side that makes the consumer side viable.
  • Benchmarked against competing directories to understand what patients already expected.

"I had the opportunity to work directly with Reloop in building a consumer-facing product from the ground up. During our collaboration, Reloop consistently demonstrated a remarkable ability to transform ideas into tangible, user-friendly solutions, and I personally learned a lot from our interactions."
