Singapore Government Work Visa Application

The Ministry of Manpower’s Work Pass Integrated System for Foreign Domestic Workers (FDW) in Singapore, was meticulously developed by Reloop Consulting. Partnering with the Ministry, our team focused on creating a nimble system aimed at delivering an enhanced online experience for FDW employers and agents handling permit-related matters.

Project Overview

Reloop Consulting was pivotal in reengineering the Work Pass Integrated System, initiating the project in 2014 to replace outdated systems with a user-centered design approach. We led the development from concept through to deployment, integrating advanced UX strategies and technical solutions.

Key Contributions:

Collaborated with global consultancy teams and the client’s internal staff to ensure a seamless design and development process.
Drove the initial research and discovery phase to align the system with user needs and government protocols.
Implemented UX strategies and UI designs that simplified the application and renewal processes for permits.
Managed the agile development, ensuring the system was responsive and compliant with the highest web accessibility standards.

This project marked the first agile development endeavor undertaken by the Singapore Government and culminated in receiving the GovInsider Innovation Awards 2016 for excellence in public service design.
