SEO Consulting Services

Get found in search, and in the AI assistants people now ask instead.

Traditional SEO still applies: technical health, structure, content worth ranking. But a growing share of questions never reach a results page. I also work on whether models cite you accurately when someone asks about your category — which needs structured, quotable, factually tight content.

When you need this

You rank for your own brand name and nothing else. Traffic is flat and nobody can say which pages matter. Content gets published on instinct. Or the newer problem: you've noticed people asking AI assistants about your category and have no idea whether you're mentioned, or mentioned accurately.

How I run it

The traditional work still applies: technical health, site structure, internal linking, and content actually worth ranking. Most sites lose more to structural problems than to content gaps.

But a growing share of questions never reach a results page. Someone asks an assistant and takes the answer. That requires a different kind of preparation — content structured so a model can parse it, claims specific enough to quote, and facts consistent enough that a summary doesn't distort them.

I work both, because the same underlying material serves each when it's written properly. Vague marketing copy fails both a search engine and a language model, for related reasons.

The advantage here is unusual: I do this as a product designer, so the recommendations account for what the page has to do for a human once they arrive.

What you get

  • A technical audit with issues ranked by impact
  • Content and structure recommendations tied to search intent
  • An assessment of how AI assistants currently describe your category
  • Changes specified well enough to be implemented, not just listed

How the work runs

An initial audit takes two to three weeks. Ongoing work suits a monthly arrangement, since results compound and need monitoring.

Common questions

Is SEO still worth it if AI is answering questions?

Yes, but the target has widened. The same structured, factually tight content serves both — and being citable by a model is becoming the more valuable half.

How long until we see results?

Technical fixes can move within weeks. Content and authority take months. Anyone promising faster is describing something that won't last.

Do you write the content?

I can, and I'd usually rather brief your team. Content written by someone who knows the product is better than content written to a keyword.
