Pre-registered Experiment Design

Write down what would change your mind, before the result arrives.

Hypothesis, threshold and decision rule agreed in advance, so a result can't be reinterpreted after the fact. It's the difference between a test and a justification. Slower to set up, and much harder to argue with once it lands.
